Elementary After-School
Tuesday – Friday from 12:15 PM – 3:00 PM for grades K4 – 6th.
A different elementary teacher will lead a study hall or enrichment activity for grades K4 – 6th.

Journalism
12:15pm – 2pm on Tuesdays for grades 7th – 12th Grade
The Lakewood Presbyterian Journalism Class is responsible for assembling a monthly newsletter as well as the annual yearbook. Some of our other activities have been learning basic journalism principles, class participation in guest speaker interviews, education about the First Amendment and exciting field trips!
Theater
12:15 PM – 3:00 PM on Wednesdays for grades 7th – 12th Grade
This engaging elective meets once a week for 3 hours. The class focuses on the production of our spring show through development of vocal control and choral work, exercises in movement and dance, and opportunities to assist with sets, costumes, lights, & sound. All this work culminates in a fully produced show the first weekend in May which is oftentimes a musical which is produced in conjunction with the Varsity Chorus class.
Varsity Chorus
12:15pm – 3pm on Thursdays for grades 7th – 12th Grade
Students participating in varsity chorus will work towards several performances throughout the year, both at school and in the community.
Athletics
4th – 12th Grade
We are members of CSAF (Christian Schools Athletic Fellowship) and TCAF (Texas Christian Athletic Fellowship) where we compete against other Christian schools. The sports we offer will vary year by year depending on levels of interest, but typically will be basketball, volleyball, and track.
